Trends often reflect cultural moods. When society leans into minimalism, we see pared-back interiors.

In times of uncertainty, we crave comfort and warmth, sparking revivals of rich textures and vintage pieces.

As new generations discover design eras from the past, they reinterpret them through a modern lens and so the cycle continues.

Think of it like this:

1970s rattan → back via boho revival

Art Deco glamour → reimagined in 2020s curves and brass

90s minimalism → influencing today’s muted palettes and sleek lines

What’s Coming Next – Our Forecast

Looking ahead, we see the next wave of interiors embracing:

Organic warmth

We’re finally shifting away from stark minimalism and cold greys.

Earthy tones, very tactile materials like travertine and limewashed stones and natural woods are having a moment, bringing softness and feelings of wellbeing into our spaces.

Maximalism with meaning

People are layering more. We are seeing a trend towards more books, art, textiles, personal treasures. But it’s not clutter,  it’s intentional storytelling. Spaces are becoming expressive again, filled with character and emotions.

Return of classic craftsmanship

Quality over quantity is back. We are  definitely noting a move towards traditional joinery, bespoke upholstery and heirloom-quality pieces that stand the test of time, not just trends.

Playful nostalgia

There’s a rising love for playful colours, vintage silhouettes and fun retro prints (hello, checkerboard and scalloped edges). It’s joy-infused design with a wink to the past.
